About SWMRS
SWMRS are an American punk-rock band formed in Oakland, California, by childhood friends Cole Becker and Joey Armstrong. Originally called Emily’s Army, the group later adopted the SWMRS name and became known for the albums Drive North and Berkeley’s on Fire, including songs such as “Miley,” “Figuring It Out” and “Lose Lose Lose.”
In 2017, SWMRS opened for Green Day on part of the Revolution Radio Tour and performed at the Reading and Leeds festivals. The band followed its second album with the Berkeley’s on Fire Tour and played Coachella in 2019.
