syrup16g is a Japanese alternative-rock band formed in 1996 around singer and guitarist Takashi Igarashi. Albums including COPY, coup d'Etat and HELL-SEE established their guitar-led sound, while “Reborn” became one of their best-known songs. The band ended its original run with a farewell concert at Nippon Budokan in 2008. After reuniting in 2014, syrup16g resumed performing and marked its return with a concert at Tokyo International Forum Hall A.
