Artist
Taproot is an American alternative-metal band formed in Ann Arbor, Michigan, in 1997. Led by vocalist and guitarist Stephen Richards, the group became known during the nu-metal era through the albums Gift and Welcome, including the songs “Again & Again” and “Poem.” Taproot played Ozzfest in 2000 and 2001, bringing material from its early albums to the festival circuit. After several years away from concerts, the band returned to the stage in 2023 and performed at The Machine Shop in Flint.
