About Tarakany!
Tarakany! was a Russian punk-rock band formed in Moscow in 1991. Fronted for much of its history by Dmitry Spirin, the group became known for fast, melodic songs including “Russky rok,” “Ya smotryu na nikh” and “36,6,” as well as the albums Strakh i nenavist and Ulitsa svobody.
In 2016, the band marked its 25th anniversary with a concert at Stadium Live in Moscow, bringing material from across its catalogue to one of the city’s large concert halls. Its festival history also included performances at Nashestvie and Kubana.
