TC & the Groove Family in London

TC & the Groove Family are a British ten-piece collective formed in Leeds, playing jazz shaped by Afrobeat, broken beat and dance music. The group is known for the albums First Home and We Have Each Other, which centre its layered percussion, brass arrangements and ensemble writing. The band has performed at Glastonbury Festival, WOMAD and We Out Here. Its established concert format uses the full ensemble, with the horn and rhythm sections carrying the arrangements heard on First Home onto stages including WOMAD.
