Ted Leo and the Pharmacists in Columbus

Ted Leo and the Pharmacists are an American indie-rock and punk band formed in Washington, D.C., by singer and guitarist Ted Leo in 1999. Their catalog includes the albums The Tyranny of Distance, Hearts of Oak and Shake the Sheets, as well as the songs “Where Have All the Rude Boys Gone?” and “Me and Mia.” The band opened selected U.S. dates for Pearl Jam in 2003 and performed at Coachella in 2007. After releasing The Brutalist Bricks in 2010, they toured again in a full rock-band lineup, playing clubs and theatres. Their performances have reached well beyond Washington, including shows at the Bowery Ballroom in New York and the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco.
