Teddy Thompson in Ann Arbor

Teddy Thompson is a British singer-songwriter, born in London in 1976, whose music draws on folk, country and melodic pop. The son of Richard and Linda Thompson, he established his own recording career with albums including Separate Ways, Bella and Heartbreaker Please, and recorded the country duets album Little Windows with Kelly Jones. His early professional stage work included singing and playing guitar in Richard Thompson’s touring band. In 2016, Teddy Thompson and Kelly Jones toured together behind Little Windows, performing its close-harmony country songs together. His solo appearances have also included Cambridge Folk Festival and Glasgow’s Celtic Connections.
