Tei Shi is the stage name of Argentine-born Colombian-Canadian singer, songwriter and producer Valerie Teicher. Her electronic pop and alternative R&B first reached a wider audience through the EPs Saudade and Verde, including “Bassically,” before the albums Crawl Space, La Linda and Valerie.

Tei Shi made her live debut at New York’s CMJ Music Marathon in 2013. Support dates with Jungle followed, and she performed at Coachella in 2016.
