Artist
TesseracT is a British progressive-metal band formed in Milton Keynes in 2003 by guitarist Acle Kahney. Their music is marked by low-tuned, syncopated guitar parts, shifting meters and Daniel Tompkins’s clean and harsh vocals. The debut album One introduced the multi-part “Concealing Fate” suite, while Altered State, Polaris, Sonder and War of Being expanded their catalogue with songs including “Nocturne,” “Dystopia” and “King.” In 2018, TesseracT toured North America behind Sonder with Plini and Astronoid. They staged PORTALS as a cinematic live broadcast in 2020, later releasing the performance as a concert album and film. The War of Being World Tour began in 2023 and included North American dates supported by Intervals and Alluvial. The band has performed at Download Festival and has headlined ArcTanGent.
