Tété in Aulnoy-lez-Valenciennes

Tété is a French singer-songwriter and guitarist, born in Dakar in 1975 and raised largely in Saint-Dizier. He writes pop, rock, R&B, blues and folk songs, and made his album debut with L’Air de Rien in 2001. Its follow-up, À la faveur de l’automne, included “Emma Stanton” and the title song. After moving to Paris in 1998, Tété performed in cafés and on the street before forming a trio with drummer Alberto Malo and bassist Evy Moon. Recordings from three concerts were later collected on the live album Par Monts et Vallons, while his international performance history also includes the L’antichambre Tour.
