About Texas
Texas are a Scottish pop-rock band formed in Glasgow in 1986 and fronted by singer and guitarist Sharleen Spiteri. Their debut album, Southside, introduced “I Don’t Want a Lover,” while White on Blonde produced “Say What You Want” and “Black Eyed Boy.” “Summer Son” and “Inner Smile” became further staples of the band’s catalogue.
Texas documented the Greatest Hits era with a 2001 concert at Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy, released as the film Texas Paris. The band later mounted The Conversation Tour after the album of the same name, then revisited its catalogue on the Texas 25 tour. The full-band format carried into the 2017 Jump on Board Tour.
