About The Afters
The Afters are an American Christian pop-rock band formed in Texas in 1999 by Joshua Havens and Matt Fuqua. They became known through songs including “Beautiful Love,” “Never Going Back to OK” and “Light Up the Sky”; “Beautiful Love” also appeared in the film Just My Luck and served as the theme for MTV’s 8th & Ocean.
In 2011, The Afters joined the Rock & Worship Roadshow, an arena tour that also featured Jars of Clay, Thousand Foot Krutch, Matt Maher and Lecrae. MercyMe headlined that run.
