The Amity Affliction in Wiesbaden

The Amity Affliction are an Australian metalcore and post-hardcore band formed in Gympie, Queensland, in 2003. They are known for albums including Chasing Ghosts and Let the Ocean Take Me, and for songs such as “Pittsburgh,” “Don’t Lean on Me” and “Open Letter.” Their music combines heavy guitar breakdowns and screamed verses with clean, melodic choruses. The band played the Vans Warped Tour across the United States in 2013, then co-headlined Australia’s Big Ass Tour with A Day to Remember in 2015. In 2024, they marked the tenth anniversary of Let the Ocean Take Me by performing the album in full on tours of the United States and Australia.
