The Association is an American pop-rock group formed in California in 1965. Their close vocal harmonies and polished arrangements became central to songs including “Along Comes Mary,” “Cherish,” “Windy” and “Never My Love.” The Association opened the Monterey International Pop Festival in 1967, performing during the event’s first evening. In later decades, the group toured theatres and oldies package shows, including editions of the Happy Together Tour led by The Turtles.
