Steve Martin & Martin Short in Louisville

Steve Martin & Martin Short is the joint live comedy act of two American comedians, actors and writers. Steve Martin became known through stand-up, film and banjo music, while Martin Short established his character comedy on SCTV and Saturday Night Live. Their screen work together includes Three Amigos!, the Father of the Bride films and Only Murders in the Building. An Evening You Will Forget for the Rest of Your Life took their two-person act through theatres and was filmed at the Peace Center in Greenville for a 2018 Netflix special. They later toured under titles including Now You See Them, Soon You Won’t and You Won’t Believe What They Look Like Today! Their theatre show combines alternating stand-up sets, scripted exchanges, Martin Short’s characters and Steve Martin’s banjo playing. Musical sections in the Netflix recording featured Steep Canyon Rangers and pianist Jeff Babko.
