About The Bevis Frond
The Bevis Frond is an English psychedelic rock band founded in London in 1986 by singer, songwriter and guitarist Nick Saloman. It began as his home-recording project and became known through independently issued albums including Miasma, Inner Marshland and New River Head, marked by melodic songwriting and extended electric-guitar passages.
The Bevis Frond performed at the first Terrastock festival in Providence in 1997. The live album Live at Great American Music Hall, San Francisco captures the touring lineup centered on Nick Saloman’s vocals and lead guitar.
