The Black Keys are an American rock duo formed in Akron, Ohio, in 2001 by guitarist and singer Dan Auerbach and drummer Patrick Carney. Their blues-heavy garage rock became widely known through the albums Brothers and El Camino and songs including “Tighten Up,” “Lonely Boy” and “Gold on the Ceiling.” On the El Camino Tour in 2012, The Black Keys played arenas including Madison Square Garden. The Let’s Rock Tour opened in 2019, and the Dropout Boogie Tour followed in 2022, taking the duo and its expanded touring band back through major North American venues. A 2008 concert at Portland’s Crystal Ballroom was filmed for Live at the Crystal Ballroom. Later arena shows have included London’s O2 Arena and Chicago’s United Center.
Jeremie Albino is a Canadian singer-songwriter from Toronto who plays roots music grounded in folk, country, blues and soul. His recordings include the debut album Hard Time, Tears You Hide and Our Time in the Sun, produced by Dan Auerbach. Jeremie Albino performed for Toronto’s Live at Massey Hall concert series, bringing his voice, guitar and band to the historic venue. He has also toured as a support act for Orville Peck and St. Paul & The Broken Bones.
