About The Blood Brothers
The Blood Brothers are an American post-hardcore band formed in Seattle in 1997. Their experimental rock is marked by rapid shifts, abrasive guitars and two lead vocalists. The albums Burn, Piano Island, Burn, Crimes and Young Machetes include songs such as “Cecilia and the Silhouette Saloon” and “Love Rhymes with Hideous Car Wreck.”
The band’s 2007 farewell tour concluded at the Showbox in Seattle. The Blood Brothers reunited in 2014, appearing at FYF Fest in Los Angeles before a North American tour, then returned in 2024 for a US tour marking the 20th anniversary of Crimes.
The reunion shows featured the five-member lineup of vocalists Jordan Blilie and Johnny Whitney, guitarist Cody Votolato, bassist and keyboardist Morgan Henderson, and drummer Mark Gajadhar.
