About Cave In
Cave In is an American band formed in Methuen, Massachusetts, in 1995. Their early metalcore and hardcore gave way to space rock and alternative metal, a progression documented on albums including Until Your Heart Stops, Jupiter, Antenna and Heavy Pendulum.
After bassist and vocalist Caleb Scofield died in 2018, the surviving members performed benefit concerts for his family at the Royale club in Boston and the Wiltern theatre in Los Angeles. Nate Newton later joined the touring lineup, and in 2022 Cave In played material from Heavy Pendulum on European dates that included Roadburn in Tilburg.
