The Bouncing Souls & The Suicide Machines in Whitefish Bay

The Bouncing Souls are an American punk rock band formed in New Brunswick, New Jersey, in 1989. Albums including Maniacal Laughter, Hopeless Romantic and How I Spent My Summer Vacation established their melodic punk sound, while “True Believers” and “Manthem” became signature songs. The Bouncing Souls appeared repeatedly on the Vans Warped Tour during the festival’s long run. The band later established the Home for the Holidays concert series, staged for years at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park. Their festival history also includes Punk Rock Bowling in Las Vegas and Riot Fest in Chicago.

The Suicide Machines are an American ska-punk band formed in Detroit in 1991. They play fast ska-punk and hardcore punk, and became known through the album Destruction by Definition and songs including “New Girl,” “No Face” and “Break the Glass.” Later records include Battle Hymns, A Match and Some Gasoline and Revolution Spring. The Suicide Machines played the Vans Warped Tour during the 1990s and returned to the festival in the 2000s, taking their horn-driven punk set around North America. After disbanding in 2006, the group reunited in 2009 for a hometown concert at Saint Andrew’s Hall.
