The Flatliners are a Canadian punk rock band formed in Richmond Hill, Ontario, in 2002. Their early records drew heavily on ska punk, while albums including The Great Awake, Cavalcade and Dead Language established a more melodic punk and hardcore sound. The Flatliners toured clubs and punk festivals after Fat Wreck Chords released The Great Awake in 2007. They joined the Vans Warped Tour in 2011 and supported The Menzingers on European dates in 2018. The live show uses the band’s longstanding four-piece lineup: Chris Cresswell on vocals and guitar, Scott Brigham on guitar, Jon Darbey on bass and Paul Ramirez on drums. The band has repeatedly performed in Toronto and Montreal and has returned to London on UK tours.
Dave Hause is an American singer-songwriter, born in 1978 and raised in Philadelphia, who plays punk-rooted folk and heartland rock. He first became known as the frontman of The Loved Ones, whose albums include Keep Your Heart, before establishing a solo catalog with Resolutions, Devour and Bury Me in Philly. The 2011 Revival Tour featured Hause in an acoustic songwriter lineup with Chuck Ragan, Dan Andriano and Brian Fallon. He subsequently opened for Social Distortion and The Gaslight Anthem, then built his own headline tours around solo and full-band performances. Full-band concerts feature Hause on guitar and vocals with The Mermaid. His brother Tim Hause has also been a touring and recording partner in The Mermaid.
