Artist
The Brooks are a Canadian funk and soul band formed in Montreal in 2013. Led by bassist Alexandre Lapointe and vocalist and trombonist Alan Prater, the group is known for horn-driven jazz-funk on the albums Freewheelin’ Walking and Any Day Now, including “Gameplay” and “Turn Up the Sound.” The Brooks have toured clubs and theatres in Canada and Europe and brought their full-band show to Festival International de Jazz de Montréal and Montreux Jazz Festival.
