The Calling in San Juan Capistrano

The Calling is an American rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1996 by singer Alex Band and guitarist Aaron Kamin. The group became known through its 2001 debut album, Camino Palmero, led by “Wherever You Will Go” and followed by singles including “Adrienne” and “Could It Be Any Harder.” Its second album, Two, arrived in 2004. The Calling performed at Rock in Rio in 2001 and toured in support of both Camino Palmero and Two. After re-forming in 2013, the group resumed concerts as a full rock band, and its later touring lineups have remained centered on Alex Band.
