The Cassandra Complex in Coesfeld

The Cassandra Complex are an English band formed in Leeds in 1980 by Rodney Orpheus, Paul Dillon and Andy Booth. Their music draws on post-punk, industrial rock and electronic body music; the single “Moscow Idaho” and the albums Grenade and Theomania are central works in their catalogue. The 1987 live album Feel the Width documented their early concert period, and the later concert release Beyond the Wall of Sleep extended that record of their stage work. After periods of reduced activity, they returned to European stages and have repeatedly performed in Germany and the Netherlands.
