About The Clouds


The Clouds are an Australian indie rock band formed in 1989. Built around singers and guitarists Jodi Phillis and Trish Young, the group is known for songs including “Hieronymus” and “Soul Eater,” as well as the albums Penny Century and Octopus.

The band played the inaugural Big Day Out in Sydney in 1992 during its first run of touring. After disbanding in 1997, The Clouds reunited in 2011 and returned to perform in Sydney and Melbourne.
