About The Collingsworth Family

The Collingsworth Family is an American Southern gospel ensemble led by Phil and Kim Collingsworth and their children. The family began a full-time concert ministry in 2000, becoming known for close vocal harmonies, hymn arrangements and songs including “It Matters to the Master” and “Your Ways Are Higher Than Mine.” Their recordings include That Day Is Coming, Mercy & Love and Just Sing!.

The Collingsworth Family has made recurring appearances at the National Quartet Convention and Gaither Family Fest. They have also presented seasonal concerts under the title A True Family Christmas, extending their church-based touring into theatres and performing arts venues.

Their concert format combines ensemble singing and instrumental features. Kim Collingsworth plays featured piano pieces, while Phil Collingsworth adds trumpet to a program that also draws on the musical roles of their children.
