The Cowsills in Woodbridge Township

The Cowsills are an American family pop-rock group formed in Newport, Rhode Island, in 1965. Built around siblings Bob, Bill, Barry, John, Paul and Susan Cowsill, with their mother Barbara later joining the lineup, they became known for bright vocal harmonies and songs including “The Rain, the Park & Other Things,” “Indian Lake” and “Hair.” The group’s late-1960s success led to performances on television programs including The Ed Sullivan Show and The Johnny Cash Show. After re-forming in the 1990s, they returned to concert work and later joined multiple editions of the Happy Together Tour. Their revival-era appearances have also included the Flower Power Cruise.
