The Cribs are an English indie-rock band formed in Wakefield in 2001 by brothers Gary, Ryan and Ross Jarman. Their best-known records include The New Fellas, Men’s Needs, Women’s Needs, Whatever and Ignore the Ignorant, the album they made after Johnny Marr joined the lineup. “Hey Scenesters!”, “Mirror Kissers” and “Men’s Needs” are among their signature songs. In 2007, The Cribs supported Kaiser Chiefs on a UK arena tour as Men’s Needs, Women’s Needs, Whatever expanded their live audience. Ten years later, they marked that album’s anniversary with a full UK tour that culminated in a headline show at First Direct Arena. The Cribs perform as a guitar band built around the three Jarman brothers, with Gary and Ryan sharing lead vocals and Ross on drums. Johnny Marr toured as a full member during his period in the group. The Cribs headline shows in London and return frequently to Leeds for home-county concerts.
