The Dandy Warhols in Auckland

The Dandy Warhols are an American alternative-rock band formed in Portland in 1994. Their music draws on neo-psychedelia, indie rock and pop, and they are best known for songs including “Bohemian Like You,” “Not If You Were the Last Junkie on Earth” and “We Used to Be Friends.” Key albums include The Dandy Warhols Come Down, Thirteen Tales from Urban Bohemia and Welcome to the Monkey House. In 2003, The Dandy Warhols supported David Bowie on selected dates of A Reality Tour. For that record’s 13th anniversary in 2013, they toured with a full-album performance; a concert from the run was recorded at the Wonder Ballroom and released as a live album.
