Artist
The Darcys are a Canadian alternative-rock band formed in Toronto in 2007, now centered on Jason Couse and Wes Marskell. Their catalogue includes the self-titled album The Darcys, a full-length reinterpretation of Steely Dan’s Aja, and Warring, which was shortlisted for the Polaris Music Prize. Later releases brought songs such as “Miracle” and “San Diego, 1988.” Following Warring, The Darcys toured Canada in support of July Talk, taking the album into clubs and theatres. The band also carried its Warring-era set to SXSW in Austin and the Field Trip festival in Toronto.
