The Deep Dark Woods in Copenhagen

The Deep Dark Woods are a Canadian folk and alternative-country band formed in Saskatoon in 2002. Led by singer-songwriter Ryan Boldt, they are known for dark narrative ballads and albums including Winter Hours, The Place I Left Behind and Jubilee. The Deep Dark Woods have performed at Newport Folk Festival and Pickathon while touring outside Canada. Their concerts center on the voice and guitar of Ryan Boldt, and the full band plays original ballads alongside interpretations of traditional songs.
