The Deslondes in Costa Mesa

The Deslondes are an American roots band formed in New Orleans. Their music draws on country, soul, blues and rock and roll, heard across the albums The Deslondes, Hurry Home, Ways & Means and Roll It Out; “Fought the Blues and Won” and “Less Honkin’ More Tonkin’” are among their best-known songs. In 2015, the band performed a Tiny Desk Concert at NPR, presenting material from its self-titled debut as a full-band set. The Deslondes have since toured clubs and festivals behind successive records, and their Louisiana appearances have included the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.
