The Devil Wears Prada is an American metalcore band formed in Dayton, Ohio, in 2005. The group became known for the albums Plagues and With Roots Above and Branches Below, the conceptual Zombie EP, and songs including “Danger: Wildman,” “Dez Moines” and “Chemical.” The band performed on several editions of Warped Tour and joined Mayhem Festival in 2012. The 2023 Metalcore Dropouts tour later paired The Devil Wears Prada with Fit for a King for a co-headlining North American run.
Future Palace are a German post-hardcore and alternative metal trio formed in Berlin in 2018 by vocalist Maria Lessing, guitarist Manuel Kohlert and drummer Johannes Frenzel. Their music pairs heavy guitar passages and electronic textures with melodic vocals and screams. The albums Escape, Run and Distortion, together with songs including “Paradise,” “Dead Inside” and “Malphas,” established the band’s sound. The Run Tour took Future Palace into European clubs following the release of their second album. They returned to those rooms for the Distortion Tour, building the set around material from Distortion and extending their headline work across Germany.
