Devon Allman in Lindau

Devon Allman is an American singer, songwriter and guitarist born in 1972, known for blues rock and Southern rock. The son of Gregg Allman, he founded Honeytribe, played in Royal Southern Brotherhood and co-led the Allman Betts Band. His solo catalogue includes Turquoise and Ride or Die. Devon Allman created the Allman Family Revival at The Fillmore in San Francisco in 2017, staging the first concert as a birthday tribute to Gregg Allman. It developed into an annual multi-artist tour centered on music connected to the Allman family. In 2018, the Devon Allman Project toured with Duane Betts as special guest; the partnership soon became the Allman Betts Band, which toured behind Down to the River and Bless Your Heart.

Bernard Allison is an American blues guitarist, singer and songwriter, born in Chicago in 1965 and raised in Peoria, Illinois. The son of blues musician Luther Allison, he plays electric blues and blues rock marked by funk and soul, and his solo catalogue includes The Next Generation, Funkifino and Chills & Thrills. Bernard Allison joined Koko Taylor’s Blues Machine as a young guitarist, then played in Luther Allison’s band in Europe before leading his own group. The concert releases Energized: Live in Europe and Live at the Jazzhaus document the guitar-led band he took on the road, and the latter captures a performance in Freiburg.
