About The Dollyrots
The Dollyrots are an American pop-punk band formed in Sarasota, Florida, in 2000 by singer and bassist Kelly Ogden and guitarist Luis Cabezas. Their brisk, melodic punk is represented by songs such as “Because I’m Awesome” and their cover of “Brand New Key,” as well as albums including Eat My Heart Out, Because I’m Awesome and Barefoot and Pregnant.
The Dollyrots played the Vans Warped Tour in the 2000s as their schedule expanded to club dates and support shows for Buzzcocks. In 2012, the One Big Happy Tour paired them with Bowling for Soup and Patent Pending, the three bands also appearing on an accompanying split album. Later British runs again took The Dollyrots on tour with Bowling for Soup.
