Artist
The Dreamers are an American ensemble created by composer and saxophonist John Zorn, playing melodic instrumental music shaped by jazz, surf rock, exotica and klezmer. The group was introduced on the album The Dreamers and returned for O’o, Ipos: Book of Angels Volume 14 and A Dreamers Christmas. The concert film The Dreamers: Live in Milan documents the ensemble’s stage format. Marc Ribot plays guitar, Jamie Saft keyboards, Trevor Dunn bass, Joey Baron drums, Kenny Wollesen vibraphone and Cyro Baptista percussion, forming the core sextet for music written by John Zorn.
