The Fabulous Thunderbirds in Edinburgh

The Fabulous Thunderbirds are an American electric Texas blues and blues-rock band formed in Austin in 1974 by singer and harmonica player Kim Wilson and guitarist Jimmie Vaughan. They are best known for “Tuff Enuff,” the title track of their 1986 album, as well as songs including “Wrap It Up” and “Powerful Stuff.” The band established its early live identity at Antone’s, the Austin blues club where it performed among major blues musicians passing through Texas. It later opened concerts for the Rolling Stones and toured as support for Eric Clapton.
