About The Fearless Flyers
The Fearless Flyers are an American instrumental funk group formed in 2018 around guitarist Cory Wong, guitarist Mark Lettieri, bassist Joe Dart and drummer Nate Smith. Connected to the Vulf Records circle, they are known for tightly arranged tracks including “Ace of Aces,” “The Baal Shem Tov” and “The Speedwalker,” as well as the releases The Fearless Flyers, The Fearless Flyers II and Tailwinds.
In 2019, the group opened Vulfpeck’s concert at Madison Square Garden, performing material from its early releases and appearing with the Delta Force horn section. The set was subsequently released as the concert album Live at Madison Square Garden.
