The Gatlin Brothers in Gilbert

The Gatlin Brothers are an American country vocal trio of brothers Larry, Steve and Rudy Gatlin, who grew up in Abilene, Texas, singing gospel music together. Their close family harmonies became central to songs including “All the Gold in California,” “Broken Lady,” “Houston (Means I’m One Day Closer to You)” and “I Don’t Wanna Cry.” In 1976, the trio became members of the Grand Ole Opry and made its stage an enduring part of their concert history. They stopped touring after a farewell run in 1992, then reunited in 2005 and returned to theaters and performing-arts centers. The reunited lineup remains Larry Gatlin, Steve Gatlin and Rudy Gatlin.
