The Gems are a Swedish hard-rock trio formed in 2023 by vocalist Guernica Mancini, drummer Emlee Johansson and guitarist and bassist Mona Lindgren, all former members of Thundermother. Their music draws on blues and soul as well as hard rock, documented on the debut album Phoenix and songs including “Like a Phoenix,” “P.S.Y.C.H.O.” and “Send Me to the Wolves.” The Gems made their live debut at Sweden Rock Festival in 2023. They followed that appearance by taking the album into European clubs on the Phoenix Tour in 2024.
