The Gesualdo Six is a British vocal ensemble formed in 2014 by conductor and composer Owain Park. It is known for Renaissance polyphony and contemporary choral music, documented on recordings including English Motets, Fading and Lux Aeterna. A 2014 performance of Carlo Gesualdo’s Tenebrae Responsories in the chapel of Trinity College, Cambridge, began the ensemble’s concert history. It later took its unaccompanied repertoire to Wigmore Hall in London and Miller Theatre in New York. Concerts normally feature six unaccompanied singers under the direction of Owain Park.
