About The Glove
The Glove was an English studio collaboration formed in 1983 by Robert Smith of The Cure and Steven Severin of Siouxsie and the Banshees. The project made psychedelic post-punk and synth-pop, issuing the sole album Blue Sunshine, which featured singer Jeanette Landray and included the singles “Like an Animal” and “Punish Me with Kisses.”
No tour followed Blue Sunshine, as Smith and Severin returned to their principal bands after the record. The Glove never gave a concert or festival performance in support of Blue Sunshine.
