The Godfathers in Hamburg

The Godfathers are a British rock band formed in London in 1985 by brothers Peter and Chris Coyne after the end of the Sid Presley Experience. Their direct, guitar-led alternative rock is best represented by the song and album “Birth, School, Work, Death”; other key releases include Hit by Hit, More Songs About Love & Hate and the single “Cause I Said So.” In 2008, The Godfathers returned to the 100 Club for a reunion concert. That performance led to renewed touring in Britain and continental Europe, as well as further editions of their recurring St Valentine’s Day Massacre concert.
