About The Goon Sax
The Goon Sax were an Australian indie-pop trio formed in Brisbane in 2013 by Louis Forster, James Harrison and Riley Jones. Their guitar-led jangle pop is documented across the albums Up to Anything, We're Not Talking and Mirror II, as well as songs including “Boyfriend” and “In the Stone.” The band broke up in 2022.
In 2016, The Goon Sax played SXSW in Austin while touring around Up to Anything, part of the trio’s early run beyond Australia. They later supported Teenage Fanclub on Australian dates.
