The Hanging Stars are a British band formed in London in 2014, playing country rock shaped by folk, psychedelia and guitar pop. Led by singer and guitarist Richard Olson, they are known for the albums Over the Silvery Lake, Songs for Somewhere Else, A New Kind of Sky, Hollow Heart and On a Golden Shore. The Hanging Stars have performed at Glastonbury Festival, Green Man Festival and End of the Road, taking their full-band country-rock set to major British festival stages. Those appearances place End of the Road firmly within the band’s live history.
