Artist
The Haunted Youth is a Belgian indie-rock band formed in Hasselt in 2019 by singer, guitarist and songwriter Joachim Liebens. The group plays guitar music coloured by dream pop and shoegaze, and won Studio Brussel’s De Nieuwe Lichting competition with “Teen Rebel” in 2021. Its debut album, Dawn of the Freak, followed in 2022. In 2022, The Haunted Youth performed at Rock Werchter and Pukkelpop as the debut album arrived. European club dates followed, and in 2023 the group performed at Sziget in Budapest.
