The Heavy Heavy in Jacksonville

The Heavy Heavy are a British rock band formed in Brighton in 2019 by Will Turner and Georgie Fuller. They play psychedelic rock rooted in 1960s and 1970s pop, soul and folk-rock, and became known through the EP Life and Life Only, the album One of a Kind and songs including “Go Down River,” “Miles and Miles” and “Happiness.” The Heavy Heavy spent 2022 and 2023 touring the UK and North America, playing headline club dates and festivals including Bonnaroo and Newport Folk Festival. Their later North American work included theatre shows of their own and larger concert halls supporting Black Pumas.
