About The Hillbilly Moon Explosion
The Hillbilly Moon Explosion are a Swiss rockabilly band formed in Zurich in 1998. Led by singer and guitarist Emanuela Hutter and bassist and singer Oliver Baroni, they play rockabilly shaped by country, blues and punk. They are best known for “My Love for Evermore,” a duet with Mark “Sparky” Phillips of Demented Are Go; their albums include Raw Deal, Damn Right Honey! and With Monsters and Gods.
The Hillbilly Moon Explosion have performed at Montreux Jazz Festival and toured clubs across Europe. The band has also taken its full-band rockabilly set to the United States for Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekend, while its British festival appearances have included Rebellion Festival in Blackpool.
