The Hirs Collective is an American hardcore punk group based in Philadelphia, known for compact bursts of grindcore and powerviolence rooted in queer and trans liberation. Their releases include the guest-filled album Friends. Lovers. Favorites. and We're Still Here, which features members of Soul Glo, Converge and My Chemical Romance. In 2023, The Hirs Collective performed at Roadburn Festival in Tilburg and later appeared at Outbreak Festival in Manchester, bringing their short-form hardcore to two major heavy and independent-music events.
