Artist
The Hooters are an American rock band formed in Philadelphia in 1980 by Rob Hyman and Eric Bazilian. They play melodic rock shaped by new wave, pop and folk instrumentation, and are known for “And We Danced,” “All You Zombies” and “Day by Day,” all featured on the album Nervous Night. The band opened the U.S. Live Aid concert at JFK Stadium in 1985, then performed at Amnesty International’s A Conspiracy of Hope finale at Giants Stadium the following year. In 1990, they participated in Roger Waters’s production of The Wall at Potsdamer Platz in Berlin. After a hiatus, The Hooters reunited in 2001 and resumed touring Germany.
